MARISSA LARSON
For over 10 years, Marissa has coached C-suite leaders at the global level on how they communicate, present themselves, and perform under pressure. Across more than 20 years in executive leadership coaching and strategic communications, she has helped leaders tell their stories clearly and stay composed when it matters most.
When her own daughters approached recruitment, she realized the same skills apply: connecting quickly, telling your story with confidence, and handling the unexpected with grace. She coached them as she coaches executives, and that experience is why she founded Magnolia Legacy. As a recruitment mother, she knows the journey from both sides of the table.

MARY DIENIRO
Mary has spent more than 25 years in higher education leadership and executive management. As CEO and Executive Director of ACUHO-I, she works with university leaders around the world, which gives her a global view of how campuses operate and what students experience. Earlier, she served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Alumni Association and as its Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
Mary encouraged Marissa to bring her executive coaching approach to young women and their families, and she remains a trusted advisor to the firm, offering campus insight, counsel, and encouragement. A proud Ohio University graduate, she holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has completed executive programs at the Wharton School and Northwestern University. She is also a Pi Beta Phi alumna.
OUR COLLEGIATE COUNCIL
Our collegiate consultants include recent chapter leaders and recruitment strategists from universities across the SEC, Big Ten, and Big 12. They keep our guidance current, covering how recruitment feels today, what conversations sound like, and what each campus culture expects. Their firsthand experience gives students insight into the details that can be hard to understand from the outside. From preparing for conversations to understanding the pace and expectations of recruitment, our consultants bring a current perspective to every stage of the process. They know what it feels like to be on the other side of the table, and they use that experience to help students feel prepared, confident, and informed.
